Q When is the new Cayman Islands Yellow Pages being delivered?
A The new Cayman Islands Yellow Pages will be distributed in October, so we can ensure the community at large will receive a new directory before the end of the recycling programme.


Q When does the recycling programme start?
A The recycling programme will take place from November 15th through December 3rd, 2011.


Q When is the best time to turn in my outdated directories?
A When you receive the new 2011-2012 Cayman Islands Yellow Pages, you may drop-off your outdated telephone directories at our drop off sites - November 15th through December 3rd.


Q How do I recycle my outdated phone directories?
A Once you've received your 2011-2012 Cayman Islands Yellow Pages, bring your duplicates or old directories to the approved drop-off sites.

A There are numerous general collection sites around Grand Cayman to help make your participation easy.

Q Can I bring wet phone books to the drop-off locations?
A No, only dry phone books can be recycled so please ensure that all phone books are delivered in perfectly dry condition or they can’t be used.


Q Do you accept other company's phone books?
A Yes, we will accept phone books from any publisher. Global Directories, publishers of the Cayman Islands Yellow Pages® is proud to facilitate this unique phone book recycling program. Not only will we recycle our own outdated phone directories, but we're happy to accept outdated and new directories from other manufacturers.


Q Can I bring other materials to the collection point?
A While we encourage you to recycle all possible materials, for this program we can only accept phone books.


Q May I recycle telephone directories throughout the year?
A Due to limited resources, we are only able to collect directories during a specified period each year. Our recycling program schedule is based on the distribution of our books.


Q What if I have a large amount of phone books to drop off?
A If you have a large amount of phone books, you may also arrange for bulk drop off or collections directly with NCI Services. Contact them at 943-4624 for more information.


Q Where is this initiative taking place?
A We are pleased to announce that this initiative will take place in Grand Cayman as well as Cayman Brac. Drop-off location in Caymam Brac will take place in Room 7 at the UCCI Brac campus and LIME. Q How are the phone books used after they are collected?
A Dry phone books are picked up from the approved collection points by NCI Services. From there, phone books will be transported via Thompson Line to our expert recycling partners, GreenFiber - the United States’ leading manufacturer of natural fiber insulation - where the end product will be used for home insulation to aid in energy efficiency.


Q Who is GreenFiber™?
A Established on 2000, GreenFiber™ is a quality-conscious provider of cellulose (natural fiber) insulation, fire and sound products, and is the largest producer of cellulose insulation in North America.


Q Who can participate in the Yellow2Green Challenge?
A We welcome all Primary Schools in Grand Cayman to participate in the telephone directory recycling challenge.
